Retail intelligence, not guesswork

Stop guessing who walks through your door

Your store already has cameras. Retailytics turns that footage into live footfall analytics — visitor counts, movement heatmaps, busy-hour patterns, zone performance, and shopper journeys — without expensive proprietary hardware.

Retailers are flying blind on foot traffic

Most store owners make staffing, layout, and marketing decisions without reliable visitor data. That costs money every single day.

You can't prove what changed

Did the new display work? Was last weekend actually busier? Without consistent visitor counts, you argue from memory — not evidence.

Staffing doesn't match demand

Too few people during rush hours. Too many during quiet periods. Without hourly footfall patterns, labour costs drift out of control.

You can't see where people go

Head counts tell you how many visitors arrived — not which aisles they used, where they lingered, or which corners never get traffic. Without heatmaps, layout decisions are guesswork.

Enterprise solutions cost too much

Dedicated counting cameras, cloud-only subscriptions, and long contracts put real analytics out of reach for independent retailers.

Cloud-only means cloud risk

Sending every camera frame to a third-party server raises privacy concerns, bandwidth costs, and dependency on someone else's uptime.

Complex tools never get used

Analytics platforms built for data teams end up abandoned. Store managers need answers in seconds — not SQL queries.

Retailytics: your cameras, your data, clear answers

A desktop analytics workstation built for store owners. Connect video files or RTSP streams from cameras you already own. Draw zones once. Get live dashboards and historical trends — on your machine.

Use existing CCTV — no new hardware

Works with standard IP cameras and recorded video. No proprietary counting sensors to buy or install.

Live and historical in one place

Watch annotated feeds in real time while Today and Trends dashboards update with visitor KPIs, peak hours, and zone rankings.

Heatmaps show the full picture

Movement heatmaps overlay on your live camera feed. Busy-times heatmaps reveal which hours and weekdays drive traffic. Together, they answer where — not just how many.

On-premise by design

Video is processed locally. Your customer traffic data stays in your store — not on a vendor's cloud.

Built for the shop floor

Material Design interface, no scrolling dashboards, multi-language support. Answers store managers actually need.

Retailytics live view with person detection overlays, occupancy counter, and zone heatmap

Counts tell you how many. Heatmaps tell you where.

Every retailer tracks visitors. The ones that grow faster also understand physical traffic flow — which paths shoppers take, where they stop, and which areas stay empty. That is what heatmaps reveal, and why they are essential for layout, staffing, and merchandising decisions.

Without heatmaps

  • You rearrange displays based on gut feel
  • Dead aisles drain rent for months before anyone notices
  • Entrance bottlenecks and checkout queues stay invisible
  • You cannot prove whether a layout change actually worked

With Retailytics heatmaps

  • See hot paths and cold zones on your actual camera view
  • Place high-margin products where foot traffic already flows
  • Spot congestion before it costs you sales
  • Compare before-and-after layouts with visual evidence
Live view

Movement heatmap

A colour overlay on your live camera feed that builds up as shoppers move. Red zones show heavy traffic; cool zones show areas people skip. Toggle it on during trading hours, open it fullscreen, and watch patterns emerge in real time.

  • Accumulates movement paths from person detection
  • Overlays directly on your store camera view
  • Ideal for layout tests, promotions, and event days

Today dashboard

Busy-times heatmap

A weekday-by-hour grid on the Today dashboard that shows when your store actually gets busy. Darker cells mean more entries — so you can align staffing, deliveries, and promotions with real demand instead of habit.

  • Average entries by day of week and hour
  • Compares against your selected date range
  • Pairs with peak-hour KPIs for smarter scheduling

Frequently asked questions

Visitor counts answer how many people came in. Heatmaps answer where they went. Retailytics includes two types: a movement heatmap that overlays on your live camera feed to show hot paths and dead zones, and a busy-times heatmap on the Today dashboard that maps traffic by weekday and hour. Together they help you fix layout, reduce bottlenecks, and staff the right hours — things a head count alone cannot show.

Any camera that provides an RTSP stream or recorded video files (MP4, etc.). You don't need special counting cameras — standard IP CCTV works. We recommend 1080p or higher for best detection accuracy.

No. Retailytics processes video locally on your Windows PC. Analytics data is stored in a local database. There is no requirement to upload footage to the cloud.

A Windows 10/11 PC with at least 8 GB RAM. An NVIDIA GPU is recommended for real-time multi-camera analytics but not required — CPU inference is supported at lower resolutions.

Contact us at sales@techub.kr to arrange a demo or trial licence. We'll help you connect your first camera and verify results.

Each unique video source — one RTSP stream or one video file — counts as one camera. The standard plan covers up to 4 simultaneous sources. Contact us for additional camera licences.

NVR motion detection tells you something moved. Retailytics identifies people, counts directional crossings, tracks zone dwell, maps shopper journeys, and presents retail-specific KPIs — built for store managers, not security operators.
